1) Really? Does the poem actually say that the traveller wound up happy? it does not. It says that the less traveled path changed his life. For better or for worse is for you to decide.

2) Your "road less travelled" is the path against the climate change consensus, I gather... the path towards doing nothing. I don't think that path is as untrammeled as you think. I think your path is actually a four-lane highway.

1) What I am trying to say is: the road to adventure is the one that requires the hard work. There is no hard work involved in going along with the status quo, which is against making any changes to our energy model that would disrupt the fossil fuel industry.

2) Have you noticed that America lacks any sense of mission, any reason that justifies our "greatness" except the size of our army? Taking the lead on facing up to Climate Change could BE that mission.

3) Scott talks about moonshots and Manhattan projects... but there first has to be a sense of urgency to justify those projects. And that's where he fails: by neutering any sense that these are things that OUGHT to be done.
