Re: "Yes Dale, he did" My name is not Dale, Nick. And no, he didn't, for the reasons already explained to you. Simple test to show otherwise: Link to the tweet here where @GregoryMakles cited a 2010 Heller claim on Antarctic sea ice (I'll wait). https://twitter.com/AtomsksSanakan/status/1099233099706220545 …pic.twitter.com/BDigsY6Vki

We’re way past the point of wordsalad. I’d love to counter argument but I don’t remotely understand your point here. Back to the root then.

The point that calving on coast can’t create iceloss inland is left untouch that counter to Heller is invalidated. So is the fact thag the T graph backed Heller and prooved Skepticalscience wrong.

Heller counter arguments that GRACE shows iceloss in *areas* where it can’t happen. Your point on global ice gain mechanics at a continental level bare no logical link with his point, or GRACE one for that matter.

Re: "Heller counter arguments that GRACE shows iceloss in *areas* where it can’t happen." Heller can say the moon is made of cheese if he likes. I'm going to go with what the scientific evidence shows. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-018-0179-y …pic.twitter.com/CgWr9RnlKr

(For context: wether Antarctica ice mass budget is going up or down is a disputed question to this day. That leaves us with Sea Ice expense as only clue. This one is going up)

Does sea ice budget tell you enough if you don't know what non-sea ice is doing?

Sea ice generally is a user metric. It is more influenced by oceanic current trajectories than climate itself. While ice is less dense than water it's just barely so, as such sea ice melt won't really have any impact.

I just gotto that point in the debate i cannot follow due to not knowing enough about the science. From what i see and can follow, ice seems quite expansive.
