I’m not sure what you mean by better health outcomes, infant mortality, life expectancy, how do you quantify American healthcare is twice as good as other countries that’s why it’s twice as expensive. Ive had healthcare in Italy, South Korea, Thailand, Japan.

You can not compare those stats between countries as they are all measured differently. Infant mortality is the most striking - you have to be a certain weight before considered “alive” in some countries

I’ve never liked the argument the legal system raises medical costs significantly. Doctors pay 65 billion and medical malpractice insurance lawyers collected 5 billion in actual damages in a 2+ trillion healthcare economy. A small factor at most.
