This is the most persuasive climate alarm article I have seen. Scary stuff. https://twitter.com/HikaruLinwood/status/1097677620274229248 …

Aha! Now I see it. It’s funny how I’ve read two of your books and reading the article immediately gave me the impression there was something... else at play.

I think my brain is still adjusting to what you really mean by "persuasive". I still translate it to mean "correct" or "truthful" and they're not at all the same.

All of those things simply make it a better tuned sales pitch. NOTHING more.

Ah, so you are saying it is persuasive, but not factually true? Is that a good thing? You seem to be saying it is propaganda. I foolishly thought the article would make a scientific argument, but it didn't. It merely made fear-mongering predictions. Which I found unpersuasive.

Kind of like the movie An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore. NONE OF WHICH CAME TRUE. Persuasion in the service of falsehood is not something to be celebrated. It is called propaganda and it is the tool of authoritarian governments. We should expect better.

All of which don’t prove its truth. You are spreading rumors all to push your “persuasion expert” status.
