And this argument is a recurring specious argument. You have no basis or empirical evidence for this claim it is solely constituted by your opinion and those of others with an equally baseless a stance.

Life adapts readily and e olutuo. Is continuous and rapid. If you want to make a claim you have to provide evidence not mere speculation.

Your feed suggests you have a strong partisan identity (great). But you might therefore see it as more honorable to die on your sword than concede your clan has misguidedly hitched its wagon to a caravan of evidence-rejecting goofiness on this particular topic. Science ≠ enemy.

My current view on climate change is that both sides of the debate are experiencing major confirmation bias. That much seems obvious. But I might have found a path to go deeper. That plan is in motion.

This... just isn't so. Or how so, any specific claims? Unless you mean in the sense that most everything (say 9/11 Truth conspiracy theories) sort of kinda look good if you just scan arguments and don't critically fact check, looking for repeatable confirming evidence etc...?

Contrarian side is 100% persuasive in isolation. Common sense and skepticism *should* provide more immunity. Simple questions like "if the evidence is so poor, why do all scientific academies/agencies etc globally endorse like this?"

Also: How many times has the scientific community been unified and also wrong? Is it common or unusual? What happened with nutrition science for decades?

AGW is demonstrating its presence this time. 2019-2030 will be more of the same but probably even more intense. Especially if the sun reaches its minimum and starts moving back up again. Climate Science is pretty solid now. Recommend taking a class or two in it.

There are several books on that topic. But even if it did happen does not imply this is happening with AGW. https://www.amazon.com/Trouble-Physics-String-Theory-Science-ebook/dp/B003WUYP56/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1IZWVM15KM9A&keywords=the+trouble+with+physics&qid=1549994213&s=gateway&sprefix=the+trouble+with+phy%2Caps%2C217&sr=8-1 …

"Clinging" is the right word. I don't recall you actually showing what "science" backed this supposedly scientific claim, that was mostly about resource availability and economics. Though you did find a NAS statement referring to risk of some kind, so credit there. Pigeon lap. ;)

It’s the funding. Good point about diet: The low fat fad was promoted by government funding and that’s what all the experts espoused, until the head to head low fat vs low carb studies started coming out. The government has been funding the global warming advocates.
