Watching @ScottAdamsSays and @BlightAuthority Has anyone suggested assisted living/retirement community with onsite residence for caregivers?

My friends mother, who is in assisted living, cared for my parrot for three weeks. They all loved her and she loved all of the attention. Win/win

I also think that childcare plus elder care would be a good idea, at least for those elders who can use daycare and don't hate little kids. Most old people would love to see little kids more often.

Combine elder care with pre-k program? Children would benefit from attention. Adults could read to them, impart some life expierience. Adults would feel valued. Big win for kids and elderly

GREAT idea Scott. In fact, I do occasional work for a retirement home that has dogs, cats, and birds in the buildings for the old folks to enjoy. And they really do.

Seems to me, based on observation, that old folks' homes would do well being attached to casinos and bingo halls...
