In order to believe this we must also believe thousands of scientists around the world are involved in a conspiracy to transfer their own wealth to strangers. Ridiculous.https://twitter.com/StarvinLarry/status/1092470673430196230 …

Warming is supposedly happening faster in the Arctic than anywhere on earth. These high quality long term records from Greenland and Iceland show almost no warming since the 1930's. So what would justify making large adjustments to bring them in line?pic.twitter.com/c1c0l7xCOV

Satellite data? If so, worthless. Doesn’t measure ocean temperature where 90% of heat goes.

Just a quick tip. There were no satellites in the 1800s or in the 1930's. These are site records. And very high quality. So I will ask again. Why would justify lowering the 1930's temps to hide the decline which came after? And there is no reliable ocean data from the 1930's.

And no, 90% of the heat does not go into the oceans. The oceans are 70% of the surface of the earth. And evaporation is the most efficient means of heat transfer. It takes 2256 kj/kg to evaporate water. When it condenses it releases that energy into the atmosphere.

@ScottAdamsSays I recognize that you are not a chemist or physicist – you are a way of base here. The satellite data is critical. There will be no increased heat transfer to the oceans without an increased temperature differential, period. Basic thermodynamics.

No atmospheric T rise with 20% CO2 increase means the hypothesis has been repudiated by the data. See @SteveSGoddards explanations for the chemistry mechanism for why this is true. I was a research chemist.

Alf, I was a quality engineer, my degree is math. My specialty is applied statistics. I gave you a follow. I answered the 90% of CO2 warming goes to the oceans business. Give that a look and tell me if I am way off base if you have the time. Cheers!

The lab tests showing CO2 increases temperature also show the same results with Argon (not a GHG). https://rtobin.phy.tufts.edu/Wagoner%20AJP%202010.pdf …
