It’s crazy how many people view scientists as mindless pawns. I challenge anyone to name as many scientists as they can think of and then tell me how many are the type who would make stuff up and not follow their own scientific instinct.

Scott, it doesn't have to be a conspiracy. It's an emergent state that results from 1) people who think nothing is wrong with climate don't enter the field 2) self-selection of supporting science by gatekeeping 3) financial incentives from politicized government funding
