Nice either-or fallacy @ScottAdamsSays - I expect better; are you reading the contrarian data @SteveSGoddard sends your way (literally) every day? People believe it's a scam bc the contrarian data is being systematically shut out of any discussion. There's a lot of it, too.https://twitter.com/ScottAdamsSays/status/1092543543187402752 …

Research grant
= lots of researchers. There is very little money involved in debunking global warming. -
Doing this has cost me at least one million dollars in lost opportunity costs. Just last week I had a very lucrative California contract cancelled - when they found out my climate activities.

That is not true. Shortly after you left high school (as with my husband), the late 70s education here in CA taught us we would LITERALLY experience an ICE AGE in our lifetime. So, it made it into textbooks. I had nightmares until I took a college course on media/propaganda.

Actually, I was taught that it looked like a cooling period as an ecology student; the concern started around the 50s. May have been biased by being at UCD where Watt was, but Mt Rainier glaciers grew in the 70s. You can find more on the cooling concern here.

In 1961, there was unanimous consensus Earth was cooling. Are you looking for higher than 100%? https://realclimatescience.com/2017/01/gavin-schmidt-erasing-the-unanimous-global-cooling-consensus/ …pic.twitter.com/XGHqHBzDNZ

Citation please Scott? Evidence of what you say? There was no need for "consensus" because "scientists say" was good enough then. Those who published seemed to publish about ice ages and cooling. There was no debate that I recall. My retrospectoscope is just as good as yours.

Do you have a newspaper article, story or any other data to support your statement about the "hype" of global cooling? To what do you refer regarding the "current consensus about global warming"? You have something other than the debunked "97% consensus"??
