Okay, that's funny. But of course doctors are the ones who say you shouldn't diagnose from a distance.

Agreed. Also I’m not a psychiatrist. But... 1. Trump is 72. 2. He has a family history of dementia. 3. His speech has notably deteriorated in two decades of public speaking 4. He is prone to flight of ideas, and referencing to non-existent or half-remembered figures. /1

5. Which we had all said was “fake news” but perhaps it’s not deliberate. 6. His spelling ... yikes. 7. His diet is reportedly heavily sweets and fast food - often seen in early dementia. 8. His night-day sleep pattern appears reversed- again seen in dementia. /2

9. He seems frontally disinhibited: flying off the handle on Twitter, in press conferences, firing tens of his own employees in the blink of an eye/ 1 Scaramucci. 10. He seems to have no spatial awareness of others, particularly those behind or to the side, those he can’t see. /3

I’m leaving this Tweet here for posterity: Trump himself will claim to have dementia by the end of the legal proceedings against him.

I'm on record saying no one that age should be president. But on the plus side, I spent half an hour chatting with him in August and he was operating at 100%.
