Do you think if Mueller's office had called Stone's attorney and asked him to come in to be booked that he would have done so? Given they had been cooperating up until then? Do you think the arrest was done in this manner to get publicity? Who tipped of CNN?

No, they knew, it was all about CNN optics. It was all Propaganda to make it look as if RS was a serial terrorist level criminal.

“At the crack of dawn, 29 FBI agents arrived at my home with 17 vehicles, with lights flashing, when they could have contacted my lawyer” He's lucky he wasn't holding his granddaughter, like Vicki Weaver at Ruby Ridge. That's catnip to the FBI.

The question rally isn’t whether they thought he was armed. It is whether they should have called his lawyer and asked him to surrender. This seems an atypical approach for Stone and Manafort.
