I would like to apologize for suggesting today that it is a bad idea for children to influence the political and medical decisions of adults. Based on the comments I got on Twitter, I now believe they can't do any worse than adults.

I would never have pegged you as an elitist. I learned something today too.

i suggest, you are thinking about it wrong. These can be 'Medical decisions' of adults, but they also can be the 'medical decisions' of minors since minors do have abortions and in same places their parents don't have to be notified.

Saddens me when I see you get so cynical. I always look to you as a positive voice and perspective on issues.

What matters whether voters collectively get smarter over time. Importing undereducated illegals isn't helping.

Are they undereducated because they're not smart, or not smart because they're undereducated? Is it even possible to educate the not smart? Or do you really want to open the Pandora's Box that is the Voldemort Hypothesis?

I do not want presidents like Obama making decisions and changing federal laws because of chats he had with his 12 & 10 year old daughters! We're told brains are not even fully developed till a person is 25! Be the adults in the room!

The problem with sarcasm is that it says, in effect, "Here is what I do not really mean," which can make it hard to suss out, "Here is what I mean by this."
