It's even better when you calculate the averages correctly. Note how the 1930s aren't warmer than now even in the raw data.pic.twitter.com/RTgDzXvbd2
What Jim means by "calculate the averages correctly" is to calculate them incorrectly. My graph is the averages, and it disturbing how climate alarmists corrupt language the same way they corrupt data.

Why Goddard/Heller's averaging of temperatures without accounting for missing data or different-length time series is wrong, in 1 tweet. Temp anomalies should be used instead of absolute temps to reduce bias:https://twitter.com/priscian/status/1068610910598647808 …
Jim Java 😷 💉 💉 added,
That is complete nonsense. I have generated the same graphs for all stations continuously active since 1918, and the trend is essentially identical. Stop trying to justify fraudulent data tampering.
Here is the graph for all stations continuously active since 1917. There is no valid excuse for data tampering.pic.twitter.com/8Xg9CTXepl
That's raw max temps, not mean temps. The raw max anomalies look similar. What does your plot of mean temps of those stations look like? We can compare it to my version.pic.twitter.com/z6jhzgFszO
I just moved and don't have that computer set up. You are attempting to distract with nitpicking. Regardless, your graph doesn't show a hockey stick either. You are proving my point.
When you get your computer set up, then. I think the 1930s raw average temps of the continuous stations won't be warmer than now. I have your station spreadsheet, so I'll get started on checking the individual series.
There is no indication of a hockey stick in any of these graphs.pic.twitter.com/h7zyXTyL47
