I'm not sure such a point is needed to hold the climate change model together, but most skeptics don't account for solar luminosity when modeling the CO2 curve as a driver, all of this climate talk is about one thing we absorb more energy and that energy needs to go somewhere.

There is so much water vapor in our atmosphere compared to CO2 that it makes CO2's radiative energy absorption effects null. The spectral bands that water vapor absorbs overlap with CO2 and so by the time water vapor has done it's thing, there is nothing left for CO2.
