There is a HUGE audience in this thread. There is a need to expose people's weak arguments for others to see. More generally, you argue for the audience on Twitter, not the person.

Yeah it is disappointing when debate gets shut down. Always ironic that the CCComms awards seem based on how many sceptics are blocked and minds left unchanged.

I'm skeptical of both sides. It's fairly obvious at this point that a substantial amount of argument from both sides is absurd. I just don't know the percentages.

That you think there are two sides is important from a persuasion perspective. As a sceptic, my viewpoint is that no one has any evidence or proof anything that supports AGW. There are ppl making claims, and others saying, 'OK, show me something rigorous and convincing'...

There is no mechanism for scientists to describe their work to non-scientists. They tried with the prediction models, and failed, obviously.
