The rate of warming is the argument. And they have shown that in a number of ways.

In the US (which has by far the best data set in the world) - 100% of warming over the past century is due to data tampering. https://realclimatescience.com/2018/10/noaa-data-tampering-update/ …pic.twitter.com/QZow5bpnRk

It's even better when you calculate the averages correctly. Note how the 1930s aren't warmer than now even in the raw data.pic.twitter.com/RTgDzXvbd2

Is the point of this graph to prove or disprove climate change?

It responds to the previous plot, which uses improperly averaged data (ignores missing values & varying lengths of station temp series). A uniqueness of the USHCN raw data is its inconsistent measuring times, which causes a bias that's corrected in the final data set.

My question stands. Where is the hockey stick?

Scott. You are where I started 2 years ago when I decided to look at the raw data myself. I was given link after link w/o data. What a fricken joke and sham. The US citizens paid for the data, and yet it's not available. Luckily, Steve Goddard had inside connections and data.

It's all cleverly hidden on public web sites.

And to make things even worse, those conniving NOAA scientists very cleverly concealed all the details about their data in README files. They knew that climate skeptics would never look there!

Actually yes. I still have my $2000 open bid for the raw data files. So far no takers.
