@ScottAdamsSays You cannot go back 1 million years with ice core samples because the oldest is 450k (in Greenland) and 600k (Antarctica). Underneath that, you hit bedrock. That implies that at some point all the ice (Greenland more recently than Antarctica) melted. All of it.

How can it both be true that the cooling trend in the US is not relevant because local temps don't matter, and that ice core samples (also local) do matter?
