Sorry I missed that. On the top of my head (I am on my phone) I presented 3 sources for all the calculations, some needed to be filtered for one specific number (which I indicated, I think)

I think the delta here I measured directly from an official source graph. You got the operation right: observed discrepency minus TOBs max potential bias minus same for measurement equal 2/3 unaccounted for.

Suggest more time working through & understanding the validation evidence for USHCN, less stubbornly & circularly repeating internet science critic claims...

So you’re not refuting the point anymore. It’s a relief as it looked indeed stubborn from here. It shouldn’t be that complicated to actually ponderate each part of the adjustment vs measures.

state of the debate: 1 full degree of latitude adjustment that shouldn’t be a thing in 451 historical station seems to happen nonetheless. Need confirmation. Btz @JSegor you said you were going to look into this... Any progress?

"Need confirmation" State seems to be: * Science lit, data & evidence on surface temp record presumed biased, disregarded. * Internet claims (more "engineering" oriented, conspiracy payload regretted) presumed valid until proven otherwise. Still not proven it's NOT fraud!

You can not move the state of the debate by any other move than arguing the point. This is not what you do here. You have to contest that " 1 full degree of latitude adjustment that shouldn’t be a thing in 451 historical station seems to happen nonetheless. " or accept it.

There is no source for this claim. It is tedious to constantly ask for sources, when the answer is always "I gave it X thousand tweets ago, you are irresponsible for not tracking it for me." It is not in the Heller linked you previously claimed.

Twitter makes for a very poor conversational tool for debates like this. I am working on a different tool which I hope will allow one to navigate debates in a much more straight forward manner. Yet to be released. I cannot see a nice tree structure of the dialog on Twitter.

Scott, your initiation of doing this topic on Twitter has been very instructive for everyone. Everyone has learned a lot about this controversial subject whether they like it or not by just participating. And we can do it in a civil manner, unlike Congress.

I have been exploring various visual approaches too, one is concept maps like TheBrain. Below is an example of a concept map around Climate Change I did before I started my current app. There is also a product called DebateGraph which people use. http://www.jeffsegor.com/concept-maps-webbrain.html …
