"faster than expected" is synonymous with "we don't understand"

I thought the same. My initial read of the article (and those linked) was "Estimate estimate estimate!" as there's so much adjustment, and tweaking... only for them to arrive at the usual conclusions of Climate Alarm. It feels like they're working backwards from the hockey stick.

Aren't you supposed to go on Periscope early when Washington Journal ends early?

That lecture by Steve Goreham in Canada is excellent. It logically challenges the collective irrationality that has gripped the CAGW crowd.

The article says "The majority of the heat trapped by greenhouse gases in the atmosphere over the past century – over 65% – has accumulated in the top 700 metres of the ocean". If the heat was "trapped", how did it get out and into the ocean?

Too much confirmation bias in these tweets. We are not getting the AGW side directly. Probably because they are too busy with their jobs. Did you see this video? He explains why you can't just take samples without applying weights.https://youtu.be/VR3j2Sl8CTo

You’re absolutely right to assume confirmation bias on all sides. That’s how we fly, all of us. Still, you don’t seem to adress his methodology point. A model that predict only when corrected after the fact isn’t helping.

Also, if you haven't seen the tweet, potholer54 (Peter Hadfield) said he would gladly debate (we can supply questions) in written form with Heller. He can make a case for AGW without models and the IPCC. If that is what everyone is all hung up about. He is on a trip now.
-
My first question to Peter would be: "Who funds your research?".
