This is a persuasive debunking of climate science debunkers. It covers the most ridiculous skeptical claims. https://twitter.com/TE3187QMW/status/1082633055842549760 …

My understanding is that climate scientists have about ten ways to measure historical temperatures and they all agree (now).

Oh you mean where they arbitrarily calculate an average temperature of the day by taking the max and min temps and dividing by 2, giving no thought to a weighted average?

All modern weather stations record temperature electronically, that is digitally, every 30 seconds. Readings are averaged into hourly data. I compared true average with "median" for several Australian stations, and found at LEAST a half-degree difference.

The „now“ is the interesting bit. Remember what they had to do to make for examples the tree rings fit. Or how temperature data was adjusted. It sounds very circular.

The Holocene is an interglacial. The Eemian was the previous interglacial. The ice core proxies show tha temperature rose first in the Eemain causing more CO2. And the Eemian was warmer than the Holocene. Hippos roamed where London and Berlin were.pic.twitter.com/HWnZlECebO

Also note that the temperature DROPPED when CO2 was stable, & continued to drop before CO2 dropped. CH4 tracked better.

All of the different ways of measuring historical temperatures are a best guesses. And in fact not all "climate scientists, whatever a climate scientist is" do not all agree.

Yes, same with Big Pharma on drugs and Big Food on diet. Go against Statins and you're fired; Go against carbohydrates and get fired. Whilst real people taking Doctors advice to pop statins and eat cereal are dying :(
