Question: Given that the Mexican cartels control the border territory on the Mexican side, is Trump proposing a wall between the U.S. and Mexico or a wall between the U.S. and the drug cartels? Discuss. @brandondarby

If walls have no value then should they not be removed? I hear they are also immoral.

Drugs are not projectiles. They are valuable for other uses. So yes, walls are not the 'last stop' for drugs. Noses, veins, etc. are the last stop for drugs.

And we've gotten off track.
@ScottAdamsSays wasn't asking about 'drugs'. He's asking a more subtle Q: Since, obviously, walls don't stop drugs... why then will we build a wall? A: to stop people. Seems the most obvious answer. Is there a better one? -
I'm sure walls work, in some cases. Apparently, most of the people here illegally overstayed visas. That means they probably flew over the present wall & would fly over any future wall President Facepalm's gonna get. A wall does not really solve the issue, so it's about feelings.

But walls do allow us to focus our resources on the gates

Drug prohibition not working makes walls not-work, as the article explained.
