Clarification: Towns that grow become warmer and warmer compared to the climate outside of it, because the houses and other structures warm it and the ground up. But forests are also on average warmer than bare land (warmer nights and winters), so that does affect a lot.

Its not about your town its about your planet Scott. Its not credible that radiance satellite data is debunked. Data is there its rate of change matches measured rate of change of CO2 a correlation exists. Ignore it ok. Debunked? Thats persuasion not logic or science.

I think we can regard this "as if satellite data is debunked". If the entire skeptic side only builds its arguments on just two sets of satellite data, then it's less credible. So yes, that is persuasion.
