Well if this is indeed a business-as usual scenario, then it demonstrates from insurance companies, investors, builders, and residents they are willing and will continue to do business in ‘high risk’ areas, hence they don’t believe in climate change either based on their actions.https://twitter.com/ScottAdamsSays/status/1081559783000367104 …

False. They would require flood/wind insurance and only make loans to people who could pay off the mortgage no matter what happened to the property. (Rich people.) And insurance renews annually. No big risk for them either. They can bail out as soon as the going gets bad.

100% wrong. I just told you insurance companies and banks make money either way. And the rich don't much care if they have to someday sell the beach house.

All business trends aside, planetary weather trends are REAL and Man-Made Climate Change is FICTION marketed for the purpose of Wealth Redistribution.

That's by far the weakest of the skeptical claims. Is the Illuminati behind this worldwide conspiracy of scientists? or George Soros? Bigfoot?

Scott, as an atmospheric scientist, I can state there is a tremendous amount of groupthink in the field. There is no need for a conspiracy.

Scott, you're correct about this when it comes to the science. However, if u try to understand the politics of activist-scientists, wealth redistribution is probably one of many powerful motivations. Saving the planet is another. Lol

Who becomes a climatologist today other than someone who is already certain CAGW is real and wants to save the world? The field appeals only to the true believers.

Agreement can be achieved in an expressed fashion or unexpressed, simply understood. But in this case the carbon exchange freaks were expressly seeking another avenue of government control.
