Upheaval by John L Casey has the best data I’ve seen concerning the effects of solar cycles on global temperature trends, earthquakes, and volcanic activity.

No credibility in the the solar theory. Has been debunked by mainstream scientists.

What about the Maunder and Spörer minimums tied to their respective little Ice Ages? Are those considered correlation only?

So if I can up the CO2 concentration in my roof space to 600 ppm then I'll never need winter heating in my house?

I suspect there are more pathways for heat to exit your house than radiating through your roof.

1⃣ If you mean variations in total solar output, yes. Output varies very little, with little change in insolation. BUT.... Solar output in UV varies up to 25%. UV affects some parts of the atmosphere more than others. Ozone and the stratosphere strongly affected.

2⃣ Solar magnetic activity may affect cloud formation. Lower sunspot activity may increase cloud cover, which would lower temps, and vice versa. Only a about a 2% change in cloud cover would account for all observed warming.

50 years ago mainstream science did not even consider CO2 (despite its rise) as a factor in the future of the climate. Their understanding now is still very limited. The fact is it is all hypothesis with no proof.

Astrophysicist Valentina Zharkova is not mainstream? Total solar irradience is a straw man. Have these "mainstream scientists" addressed cosmic ray fluctuation?

That’s a good point. There are several factors in solar activity. As solar surface activity decreases, cosmic rays increase. Data shows that the rotation of the earth speeds during these very quiet solar cycles, affecting tectonic/volcanic activity.
