There shouldn't even be a Fed. But, what're gonna do?

Well, 1. Amash/Massie 2020. 2. Education, 99 out of 100 people misunderstand what money is much less what the Fed does. 3. Cyrptocurrency. 4. Call out local media when they parrot national news that is wrong so often. And there is that revolution thing.

The primary task of the fed is to protect the banks. Economy is an important second, but is still second.

The Fed is also trying to avert catastrophe from the slow-motion pension crisis that has been unfolding for a decade. We are in the Trump Disconnect between 40 yrs of the paper economy (Davos / Wall St.) & real economy (Main St. America / National Economy).

Doesn't need to tweet it. You start trade wars when the economy is hot and can afford it, not when it is not. And when the economy is hot, you can take some near term pain (which cools off the too-hot economy) for longer term steady gain.

If the Fed doesn't raise now they won't be able to cut when the president's strategy of slowing the economy on purpose (someone please cite when this has every worked) causes a recession.

Trump is executing his standard playbook. When faced with failure (slowing economy) he looks for a scapegoat. Then he can claim to "always win" because it's "not my fault". Failure (wall) -> scapegoat (Pelosi/Schumer). Failed Scapegoat -> New Scapegoat ("leadership"/Republicans)
