I deleted that last tweet, as it occurred to me I wasn't making a good point. I would think any reasonably cost-effective solution would involve leveraging the natural process of photosynthesis and either accelerating it or doing it on a large scale.

No. CO2 is a result of a chemical reaction, leaving two inert base elements. There's no reactor, so it is prohibitively inefficient to seperate those two elements.
