You can add a few zeros for the clock, on Trump's apology/clarification for all the vile things he's said. Because the country is still waiting.
We don't even have to go back to the beginning. We can just go back to his comment about Megyn Kelly, with her blood.
You believed he meant menstrual blood? You fell for the first fake news of the campaign.
Had "blood in his eyes" is a common saying. And noses bleed. And ears. Your interpretation is the least reasonable.
This is the point where you start wondering how many other absurd things you have been brainwashed into believing. Did you also believe Trump called white supremacists in Charlottesville "fine people"?https://bit.ly/2DFGXHz
Why would the president go to bat for such a small percentage of people with poor judgment (the few nonracists who *might* have been among the many white nationalists)? Of all times, why be nuanced THEN? That was the perfect time to generalize.
The president is in the class of people he called "fine people," meaning people who have an opinion one way or another on the statue question. He always defends himself. Normal.
I'm glad you said "the class of people he called 'fine people,'" because he's clearly not in the actual class of fine people. Also, it's great having a president who is so defensive and constantly in need of validation.
