. The level of illogical thinking around this issue is amazing and clouded by hate for the president.

He did say there were fine ppl on both sides. And one of the sides had folks chanting Nazi slogans... and also had a guy who tried to kill dozens with his car. Why deny this?

You fell for fake news. The "fine people on both sides" referred to both sides of the statue question in general. Did you think he was saying Antifa and the Neo-Nazis both have fine people? You got duped by the Enemy of the People. (Literally)

No, but nice try.

You know you got duped on this. It's obvious when I point it out. Now it will make you doubt the rest of the fake news you have been imbibing for three years.

Scott, reporters asked him about the white supremacist march in Charlottesville where they chanted "blood and soil." That is an irrefutable fact. Folks in Trump's own cabinet rejected the 'fine ppl' take as well. Again, why pretend only you didn't get "duped"? It's all on tape

Reporters asked him and the clarified by condemning the racists in clear language. You got duped by your side. It's obvious to the non-brainwashed that "both sides" meant the statue controversy, not both sides being Antifa and the racists, you poor soul.

You don’t think it is at all odd that it took what, a week straight of being pushed before he finally clarified? Or that clarification was necessary in the first place? Seems like a pretty easy thing to get right the first time.

Does not matter how long it took to “clarify. “ People still hear the wrong thing. Actually people want to believe the wrong thing. Kind of a dumb point you’re trying to make I think

You think it’s dumb to recognize that Trump seemed distinctly hesitant to speak out against them? Even when considered in combination with his comments about David Duke?

Is your opinion based on the time lag between the criticism and his clarification? That's thin soup, given that he has disavowed racists about twenty times in public.

It’s not based on that, but it certainly doesn’t hurt. Again, look at David Duke, who he initially spoke against before running, but suddenly ‘didn’t know enough about to say’ during the campaign, only to then denounce him again after tons of pressure.Doesn’t look like a pattern?
