Even if we agree the rate of warming is the highest ever measured, our data is so limited that we have no way to predict what it really means. The models were created from data that is very different from what we’re seeing, so likely to not be an accurate extrapolation.

If the rate of rise was high, I would be more inclined to consider policies to try to curb CO2 emissions. The rate of temperature rise is similar to what we know earth has done naturally and it is very unlikely we could produced GHG fast enough to warm much faster than this.

I highly recommend this interview with Judith Curry. http://www.econtalk.org/judith-curry-on-climate-change/ … The problem isn't that we are affecting the climate, it is whether or not we should do anything about. Trying to stop it distracts from more important issues and impedes better understanding.

That’s fine. The argument is a total lie though, so why cede that point? Also. The economist is owned by the rothschilds and other mega wealthy families that have HUGE stakes in carbon taxes. So read this like you would Comical Alipic.twitter.com/dntc7qKOSt

Scott, I never hear anyone talk about Mars & climate change. Why did the water go underground, the atmosphere blow out into space? Some theories think planet core cooling, and subsequent reduction of its magnetic field. Why? Could it happen here? That feels bigger than co2 fears.

Less gravity, hence easier for solar wind to strip some atmosphere away. https://www.space.com/36277-mars-thick-atmosphere-lost-in-space.html … Venus is interesting. Similar mass, much thicker atmosphere than on Earth
