Good stuff, although the gov't will come against the competitors to the socialistic health care mechanisms

Political costs of closing a hospital are too high... (big part of the pie and high fixed cost). Gotta fix that first.

I agree with lots of your viewpoints, but on this you're wrong. I work in
#HealthCare (Nurse and Paramedic) the cost to consumers will never come down. This isn't how they system is setup.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I referred you to this startup a while ago; seems more relevant now. Imagine a blood testing pipeline that's fully automated (shipment done through self-driving car blood vial pickups). https://www.emeraldcloudlab.com/

Interesting to see conservatives touting the benefits of digital health. The Digital Health Revolution was fueled by Obama’s ACA. Trump wants to crater all this

At a glance, just starting, but I don't see any sort of "legal/compliance" category on the board ie cost reduction via tort reform. Will watch to see if the issue is addressed.

Speaking as a physician, one answer is to take a page from the hippies in the 70's: create a co-op. Instead of insurance, you have a "membership" in a hospital. The membership replaces insurance. Cost is sliding scale. Rare procedures (transplants) are covered by re-insurance.

Legal costs should be the #1 target, IMO. There are more lawyers involved in HC than Dr's. Even overall, there are too many lawyers. We need a limit to the number of law degrees awarded annually.
