We need an American version of this kit house, perhaps using bricks or insulated concrete forms instead of bamboo, to create affordable housing. @BlightAuthority @pulte @elonmusk @kanyewesthttps://twitter.com/TrinityJRanch/status/1065600520503488512 …

We have similar stuff in West Texas, made from wood. A finished out 12x32 would be about 15-20k.

Do you have a quick way to find a link to the builder or technique?

I have one I use for an office. Paid 7k, then 500 for electric install and 1100 for insulation, but I used spray foam which cost a lot more. Another few thousand and people live in them. Here is one of the companies making them:https://derksenbuildings.com/buildings/cabins-cabins …

Thank you. Looks like they optimized for "shed in backyard."

Sort of, but they are a small home and used for both. They sell some finished out, some as sheds. The constructions of a shelter and the construction of a shed are the same construction. One has insulation, electric, and plumbing, the other often doesn’t.

In this case, they have satellite production across country, build with enough structural integrity to ship the buildings to a property, and deliver. Requires little down and very modest monthly payments. Many people live in them. Cheapest house possible next to a yurt

In my late twenties, I spent a few years living at an artisan compound with shops and studios and those types of buildings converted to small houses. It was an awesome time in my life, minimalist, but awesome. Loft bed, shower, kitchenette, living room, toilet.

My happiest years were my college dorm days. The cheapest housing was the best life because of the lifestyle that came with it. Design.

I went to college while raising a family. Not easy or fun. No grants or government loans, either.
