Do you also read a lot of fiction? The amount of non-fiction alone would not tell you anything.

So your argument is that fiction-reading in any real amount leads to liberalism, regardless of other factors? You've got a "one-drop" rule but for fiction consumption? Even if this was a reasonable stance, what points could possible be extrapolated from this?

Okay, explain how I've mischaracterized your point. Because she points out that she's a scientist, that she reads primarily non-fiction, but you argue that the amount of fiction she -does- read proves your point about her trend towards liberalism.

Did you think I claimed reading fiction turns all people into Democrats?

You do realize that, as a writer, it's -your- job to communicate your point effectively right?

I understand that the clearest writing will be routinely misunderstood by anyone experiencing cognitive dissonance as well as most low IQ people.
