Indeed. The climate models have never been checked for accuracy. I’d like to see a study where known climate conditions from a century ago are used as starting point, then project forward to see how accurate they are today. I’d like to see explanations for all data adjustments.https://twitter.com/ScottAdamsSays/status/1062744471492673536 …

The problem is no one model takes into account every factor in climate change. There are so many factors, and if you miss one, the model wont be accurate

And *actually* discarded, not tweaked into a new version which gives the right answer

Assuming we know the "right" answer. There's plenty of skepticism that the data itself is even accurate.

Models aren't predictive, they show sensitivity on assumption changes. Models, financial/climate/economic, are misused and misunderstood even by those who use them daily to make decisions.

And "right"answer is key. Don't bite the hand that feeds perhaps? Exactly how paper industry, among others convinced an entire country that pot was the devil during prohibition.

Run the models backwards. If they can't show Medieval warming to ice age 20k yrs ago then they don't include all the variables.

Climategate basically confirmed that the computer models have been debugged until they showed the "correct" answer and no further. http://truthsift.com/search_view?topic=Will+Anthropogenic+Global+Warming+Heat+the+planet+by+at+least+.5+degrees+C+by+2100.&id=502 …

Instead of hypothosizing about potential difficulties, why not speak to some actual climate scientists and ask them?
-
Because it would be an obvious waste of time. Both sides of the debate are equally persuasive to non-scientists.
