If models aren't reliable you should't base policy on what those models predict, or at least policy should take the unreliability into account

I have seen climate model results that correlate with measurements when the green house gas effects are not considered. Hmmmmm

I have worked with many models for complex systems that are reliable, so I would hope you could do better than that.

It's a good indication that the trust in their system of peer review is too high. Also that any group, including their own, is subject to confirmation biases and mass hysteria... these even sometimes on par with the Dutch Tulip bubble.
