Science is what goes into building the climate model. Given that the models have been consistently wrong, that tells me the science that was used for the models is wrong or incomplete. Considering what they are attempting to model, it's not surprising.

Today's ECS estimate are certainly closer to reality than Hansen's way-off 1988 "business as usual" emissions scenario prediction that had today's temperatures much higher than observed. The biggest problems now are in the impact studies, which are still terribly speculative.
