I feel like the people who say the only problem with capitalism is "wealth concentration" never worked in a restaurant. Even the smallest business owners often abuse, degrade, and bully their employees, who they view as servants – because they can. Capitalism itself is unjust.

Just imagine if we treated business like literally every other free association of humans, and ran things democratically, where the bosses were responsible to the people they managed. If only there were some kind of word for that...

still an incredibly bad take chief. the people in this scenario; a)don't actually make a living wage. b) don't have the resources to sue a business c) will get treated the same at pretty much any job they can get.

Wow imagine thinking that. (1) Yes humans *have* been much more egalitarian. (2) Capitalism is near the bottom of the list of things that work to this end. It's literally a system of domination by the wealthy. We live in hell. Holy cow.
