This is an interesting perspective from a publication that is trying to destroy the United States. (Mind-reading is fun!)https://twitter.com/thinkprogress/status/1061249726530666496 …

I'm just curious what your intended meaning of that phrase is compared to how all the different ways your rabid fans may interpret it.

The context is that mind-reading isn't real, yet most articles about Trump, or in this case Carlson, act as though they can see those strangers' inner thoughts.

I'll try again since you are polite. This article damages the country with fake news (the racism claim without support). It needs to be called out. And we also need to stop assuming we can read minds to see intentions. Two points in one tweet.

Carlson is the opposite of jingoistic. And the link says it is pointing to an example of racism but does nothing of the sort. Clearly fake, clearly a danger to the Republic.

Hi Scott - on the topic of rhetoric that is a danger to the republic. You asked me to find one piece of evidence suggesting Steve King has views we shouldn’t support. I provided. You haven’t responded. Would love your take still.https://twitter.com/mike_brooks/status/1058822997002387457?s=21 …

Hi Scott! This King tweet is evidence to me he has views I can’t support. “Cultural suicide” by “demographic transformation” suggests for him culture = ethnicity. But USA is the land of many ethnicities and beliefs, unified by freedom, merit, common ideals https://twitter.com/stevekingia/status/777568225538088960?s=21 …

This is relevant in this conversation, because there’s too common of a pattern. 1) claim there is no evidence of X (racism or whatever it might be) 2) when evidence is provided, ignore or undermine it. The question then becomes whether there is any evidence that would convince.
