I got a property ad and inane 10 best lists. Maybe they are tailored to the browser history or something.

There's a movie production company that creates films with titles nearly identical to popular Disney properties. I remember seeing these all the time at supermarket checkouts.

Didn't you do that, like, in the early 90's?

Cellular companies are great at confusopoly! They also use the "weight out" technique that food companies use. Food companies shrink portions then charge same as old package; first I bought a "unlimited" plan...and voila! It's not unlimited anymore, but throttled unlimited!

Side note: The secret with credit cards is to analyze what you typically spend and then secure 3 or 4 different cards that help you max out rewards on those different types of purchases. Then just use the right card for each purchase type and pay off each month. Free money.

That article should be titled, "Why everyone's using credit cards wrong". The interest rate on a card matters little. If you're carrying any amount of balance, you are the problem. Pay the balance WEEKLY. Don't charge anything you can't pay off immediately. Nothing but perks.
-
Paying weekly seems extreme unless you’re trying to optimize for maximum credit score. I live off my cards earning 2-3% keeping my money earning interest until I need it once a month to pay off the cards. Nets an extra $500/yr. But yeah, rule 1: never carry a balance.
