Does Scott think "only elites should have guns"? Never saw that. Although "skin in the game" adds some credibility, an argument needs to be taken seriously even when given by those not likely to be affected much.

I’m missing his point. His saying is a classic psychology perspective and a sharp scalpel at that but in this case the results are devastating and therefore the intent is malicious.
