This ALWAYS runs up against the unforgiving rules of physics - it takes energy (actually, one needs to dispose of it), and so generally is helpful only in rare cases - so generally a misleading "solution".

Yes, lots of it - thats the problem - the energy needed is quite high, and its hard to get rid of the excess heat - Its why these things go nowhere - its a matter of physics, not engineering, so harder to solve.

I'm sure there are cases where its helpful, but many have debunked this type of system on physics alone for any common application

Condensing water creates heat - this heat must be removed - the amount is significant, and unless there is a convenient method (running water would be good, but...), it takes even more energy - solar panels become prohibitively large for any significant water extraction.

You're judging the efficiency of a device without knowing anything about its efficiency?

Because I'm not talking engineering I'm talking physics, and we can't improve physics. You are right, I don't know specifics just giving a warning that there is a reason these things never materialise.

I hate that my first interaction with you is so adversarial, as I really agree with most other things you say. But I do tend to seek out disagreements - agreements are boring.
