But why is Bill Gates talking about only the cattle in the agriculture section and doesn't distinguish it from plants...? What is the ratio? There is also this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Environmental_impact_of_meat_production … "Removing all US agricultural animals would reduce US greenhouse gas emissions by 2.6%."

This whole issue misses an important piece of the puzzle. Most emissions come from developing countries and many of those countries have huge populations that are just now experiencing industrialization. They do not have infrastructure or govt req for clean energy...
-
We need to convince those developing countries that they shouldn't do what most developed countries did to get to where they are. But currently there aren't proven, cheap and viable clean emission alternatives.

Bill Gates has clearly proven his (generational) devotion to EUGENICS. Totally invalidates his perspectives.

Wait, Scott, do you believe (as I do and Bill Gates does) that climate change, caused by atmospheric carbon (among other things), is a real problem for humanity that we should address? If so, I'm thrilled, but wasn't sure that was your view.
