Allow (require?) doctors/hospitals/drug companies to post prices online and let us use Google reviews to choose the better option. Provider should not know if customer has insurance. Let customer interface with insurance.

What about requiring doctors and hospitals to post the price for their services so the consumer can value shop? Thereby creating a competitive marketplace for their goods.

@StackOverflow14 , this is exactly what now-Gov. Scott (soon to be Sen. Scott) did in Fla with Solantic clinics. He pushed same in legislation covering hospitals, but I don't think it passed. - Show replies
