Incorrect. You wouldn’t do it if you were intentionally lying. But you might do it if you trusted your own imperfect memory. Our memories are partial reconstructions. That’s the only option that explains all facts in evidence. But we can never know.https://twitter.com/GeorgeTakei/status/1042528309219864576 …

But if it did happen as she described, and Kavanaugh felt significant remorse over it, he could well convince himself it never happened, and he would not have been that guy going forward. That explanation would seem to fit; his memory is no less fallible than hers.

Or is this the "carpool dad - basketball coach" line? That kinda skips over the years he tortured Vince Foster's family by recycling a conspiracy theory found baseless by multiple federal investigations. Not to mention pushing Ken Starr to make their report as gross as possible.

Not only has he said recently that his Prep experience was a "what happens there stays there" chapter, but even if he's outgrown the rapey thing, he's still very much a liar. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2018/09/20/brett-kavanaughs-unlikely-story-about-democrats-stolen-documents/?utm_term=.3307f209d74d …

That Dad joke isn’t telling us anything. The Senate can address the other accusations.
