@ScottAdamsSays and @joelpollak I am having trouble with Trump's statements. It's one thing to be harsh about the Europeans; they need a bit of wake-up call. But dissing America just crosses a line into Obama-apology land. Better be a damn good rabbit he pulls out!

Yes definitely, in re our politicized intel community. But saying American foolishness and stupidity helped cause this I can't understand. Because he wasn't more specific, he made an equivalency between US internal politics and Russians in Syria/their invasion of Crimea.

I watched Petey with Trey Gowdy, and he sickened me. His smarmy weasel language just confirmed the rot that's there. But having Pres. Trump air it also provoked an emotional response to feel ashamed of America. It's not rational of me, but it's a dangerous game to play for him

That may be in theory Scott, but a large chunk of the public, helped by comments from Newt Gingrich & co, made up their minds today that Trump is indeed Benedict Arnold Mark II. I'm no persuasion expert, but that looks like a godzilla of a problem to overcome for him now...
