Very much enjoying @ScottAdamsSays book on Trump. Slightly concerned though that his insight is the result of confirmation bias and not honest observation...pic.twitter.com/v9hzlmf6Pc

I don't think you are in place to assume my understanding or what filter I see the world through. ;)
Yes. Not sure that rules out confirmation bias.
Dear @ScottAdamsSays, do you still predict that spygate is bigger than watergate, contrary to @TGowdySC, @SenateMajLdr, and @AlanDersh? Many people are wondering, since you never withdrew that assessment (at least not per tweet).
I didn’t see it as much of a Trump book, it was more of a book about Persuasion and common human behavior. As a result of this book I intend on ensuring Persuasion skills are part of my son’s future talent stack. (He is only 9 months old now)
Adrian, keep in mind that Scott is clear that he isn't trying to get to the "truth." Most of his fans forget Scott's core points when they read his "truth" claims about persuasion itself, especially when he speaks of predictions. He must love that. Sort of depends on it :)
Which means that you are absolutely right about his complex problems of confirmation bias (which he'll eloquently persuade you away from by framing "prediction" as "proof"), but, again, his goal is to demonstrate his core point even when talking about the "truth" of his model.
I loved your book @ScottAdamsSays . Afterwards I read pre-suasion because of your recommendation. And now am reading power of positive thinking, also because you recommended it. I owe you a big thanks!
That's fascinating. I have been tracking scientific controversies for a decade now, and have noticed that the very act of tracking (esp. vindications) can induce subject-object transition. I think we need to build out a social network where people track controversies over time.pic.twitter.com/ZBSZizDkQg
