An apology that was quickly followed by excuses and "i did nothing wrong" type tweets/retweets. I dont agree at all with the actions taken but she was not genuine is her remorse.

Your opinion requires you to read her mind, which you can't do. If you assume she knew she was tweeting something this offensive, that's a possible but unlikely explanation. The smart money says she didn't make the race connection because her thinking was temporarily degraded.

Oh honey, I come from a long line of users, and what they say and what they do while on drugs is what they really are. The constraint may have been removed but the substance doesn't make you something you are not.
