my healthcare costs are ten times higher and provide ten times less care then they did when my parents' were my age. taxes are actually rising on the local level to make up for the losses of the last 20 years. We're going to carry the cost of going to college for the next ten.

Wow. Nice way to twist a simple economic truism into a bald fallacy. National debt is different because, unlike personal debt, there's no ceiling and no accountability... ... but somewhere down the line, taxpayers still have to pay it back.
