Taxes getting more regressive under the GOP, so of course the middle class's share of all all government expenditures,, including debt service goes up. The rich's share goes down... what's hard to understand?

The GOP gives money to the rich, very little of which trickles down in the form of wages... then the GOP says that we have to cut spending on healthcare, education, social security... who do think is paying for the debt?

Yes, too much debt results in less investment in public facilities like roads and education. All things that the middle class needs to get ahead. We end up with more investment in paper assets, because the casino (Wall Street) just gets bigger
