nice slieght of hand. lets get back to intentions. the intention of the courtroom is critical discussion. unfortunately, courtrooms have no tools for this process. where there is the intention for critical discussion, persuasion has no place.

contradictions to reality are never allowed when it comes to consensus building. practical reality is that scott's usage of persuassion creates contradictions and does not resolve them.
