@mjtsai And AT&T's "overage protection" basically comes as a $5 increase, same price as VZW's "Safety Mode". Don't want or need it? Too bad.

@mjtsai Also, the "overage" allowance is "128Kbps max". So, anything from 1bps to 128Kbps, or whatever, is cool I suppose. Ridiculous.

@ScooterComputer It’s not much, but better than a sudden extra fee, perhaps. In practice, if you manage properly, you won’t see either. -
@mjtsai I've been on AT&T MVNOs, and the overage throttling is unusable. Well below 128Kbps. iOS Mail doesn't even check. (Net10, Cricket)
